Protection

Your board will get you down the hill at a good pace and if you take a tumble or hit a tree etc it is going to hurt. Prevention is better than cure they say. Don’t sit back and say I’ll be all right I’ll only go slow, it hurts at any speed, ever just knelt down on a small stone?
Plain open face lids are fine but a full face can protect your face more, visibility can be reduced with a full face and it gets hot in summer. At the very least a triple pad set is required, knee, elbow and wrist. The triple set is fine for riding under normal conditions but bigger better pads are available. Once you have been riding for a while you can upgrade your pads a bit at a time. If you are riding woodland trails or very rocky terrain then it would be a good idea to find some shin, forearm, and upper body protection as well as bum pads.

Starting off

Find a shallow slope and go with friends just in case.
To discover your lead leg, run and slide like you would on ice, the leg you put in front is your lead or front leg. This can be wrong but is a good test. After trying that leg take a ride down with the other leg leading, see how you feel.

Either on the flat or with your board across the hill, get on the board and adjust your bindings so that you feet are placed facing straight ahead with toes slightly further over the deck edge than your heels and the straps are comfortably tight. All the following can be practised on the flat before hitting the slope.

Stopping

Stopping is the first hurdle. Standing on the board knees slightly bent feeling comfortable, keeping your weight central over the board, bend your knees and lower yourself down so you can grab the front edge of the deck with both hands. Lean backwards still holding the deck, this will cause the board to turn very sharp and come to a halt. If you do not keep your weight central while going down then the board will turn before you are ready and you will lose balance. Do this several times over a short distance and increase the distance and speed each time you get it right.

Turns

A toe side turn is where you turn the way you are facing. Start riding down the hill and then push your knees forwards lifting your heels putting weight onto your toes. Do this slowly and controlled as if you do it quick you will lose balance and we know what happens then don’t we. Keep the turn going and imagine writing a big J on the hill side and you will come to a stop. Practise a few times. A heel side turn is a turn the opposite way. Start riding down the hill and this time push your bum out lift your toes transferring your weight onto your heels. Again it must be slow and controlled to keep your balance. Keep the turn going and imagine the J again.

Practise these turns a few times and then practise the stops again, each time you do it increase the distance and speed of your run. Once you are brimming with confidence you start linking these turns together, start riding then turn one waay but befor you go all the way switch from heel to toe or vice versa and carry on riding, the more you turn the slower the ride will be, this is called carving. If you reduce the turn your speed will increase, don’t forget to leave space to stop at the bottom.

Tips

When riding hold your hands out above each end of the deck and keep your knees slightly bent with a straight back, this will help balance. Look where you are going by turning your head not your whole body. You can practise turns and stops in your front room it will help with your overall balance. You can get a balance board which is a plank on a roller that you try to stand on, it improves your core muscles and your balance.

Every affiliate marketer is always looking for the successful market that gives the biggest paycheck. Sometimes they think it is a magic formula that is readily available for them. Actually, it is more complicated than that. It is just good marketing practices that have been proven over years of hard work and dedication.
There are tactics that have worked before with online marketing and is continuing to work in the online affiliate marketing world of today. With these top three marketing tips, you will be able to able to increase your sales and survive in the affiliate marketing online.

What are these three tactics?

1. Using unique web pages to promote each separate product you are marketing. Do not lump all of it together just to save some money on web hosting. It is best to have a site focusing on each and every product and nothing more.

Always include product reviews on the website so visitors will have an initial understanding on what the product can do to those who buys them. Also include testimonials from users who have already tried the product. Be sure that these customers are more than willing to allow you to use their names and photos on the site of the specific product you are marketing.

You can also write articles highlighting the uses of the product and include them on the website as an additional page. Make the pages attractive compelling and include calls to act on the information. Each headline should attract the readers to try and read more, even contact you. Highlight your special points. This will help your readers to learn what the page is about and will want to find out more.

2. Offer free reports to your readers. If possible position them at the very top side of your page so it they simply cannot be missed. Try to create autoresponder messages that will be mailed to those who input their personal information into your sign up box. According to research, a sale is closed usually on the seventh contact with a prospect.

Only two things can possibly happen with the web page alone: closed sale or the prospect leaving the page and never return again. By placing useful information into their inboxes at certain specified period, you will remind them of the product they thought they want later and will find out that the sale is closed. Be sure that the content is directed toward specific reasons to buy the product. Do not make it sound like a sales pitch.

Focus on important points like how your product can make life and things easier and more enjoyable. Include compelling subject lines in the email. As much as possible, avoid using the word “free” because there are still older spam filters that dumps those kind of contents into the junk before even anyone reading them first. Convince those who signed up for your free reports that they will be missing something big if they do not avail of your products and services.

3. Get the kind of traffic that is targeted to your product. Just think, if the person who visited your website has no interest whatsoever in what you are offering, they will be among those who move on and never come back. Write articles for publication in e-zines and e-reports. This way you can locate publications that is focusing on your target customers and what you have put up might just grab their interest.

Try to write a minimum of 2 articles per week, with at least 300-600 words in length. By continuously writing and maintaining these articles you can generate as many as 100 targeted readers to your site in a day.
Always remember that only 1 out of 100 people are likely to buy your product or get your services. If you can generate as much as 1,000 targeted hits for your website in a day, that means you can made 10 sales based on the average statistic.

The tactics given above does not really sound very difficult to do, if you think about it. It just requires a little time and an action plan on your part.

Try to use these tips for several affiliate marketing programs. You can end maintaining a good source of income and surviving in this business that not all marketers can do.
Besides, think of the huge paychecks you will be receiving…

Before starting dog training, it is best that you know your options well. These days you can find many types of dog training, in many different places. These trainings vary in price and each one them has something different to offer.

The first type of dog training is known as puppy preschool. This is a dog training course meant for puppies that are about 6 weeks to 5 months old. These puppy preschool classes generally last for no more than 6 to 8 weeks. In these training sessions, your puppy is essentially taught how to socialize with people and as well as other puppies. Here your puppy also begins to learn how to sit down, stay at a place, and how to come.

The second type of dog training course is meant for the dogs that are at least 5 months old. This type of dog training is known as the basic dog training. The duration of these classes is usually about 8 to 10 weeks. This is the basic course, where your dog is taught the art of walking properly on a leash, sitting, staying, coming and heeling.

The third type of dog training course is known as the intermediate dog training. This dog training aims at teaching the dog mostly the same things that are taught in the basic training course, in a more detailed form. Here the dog is trained to stay for a longer span of time, and is also taught to follow the orders given by other people.

The intermediate dog training generally lasts for about 8 to 10 weeks, and is meant for those that are no less than 5 months old. It is essential for the dog to have completed its basic dog training course, or to be accustomed to the basic commands that could have been taught by the owner.

The next type of training course is known as the advanced dog training course. Here, once again, the course is quite similar to its previous one, i.e., the intermediate dog training course, except for the fact that this time it is more detailed. Here, the dog is taught how to sit even without you in the view.

This training course is about 8 to 10 weeks long, and is meant for those that have completed their intermediate training. Here, they are also trained to walk beside their owners without a leash. Moreover, it gradually prepares the dog to take the Canine Good Citizen training course.
The Canine Good Citizen training for dogs is the last course. To pass this course, your dog will be taught the 10 necessary aspects.

This course is strictly meant for those dogs that have completed all the previous courses. The test is quite tough and can only be passed if the dog is really well behaved. Depending on whether your dog can pass, the course can last for several weeks.

Keeping this information in mind, you should be able to decide the dog training course best suited for your dog. However, you may seek the opinion of your local dog trainers to know more. Many trainers consult for free. So now you should be at least a step closer to introducing your dog into a training course!

Religion On The Web18 Nov 2007 10:24 pm

Rudyard Kipling on Masonry: “the closest thing to a religion that I shall ever know”.

“The truly creative mind in any field is no more than this: a human creature born abnormally, inhumanly sensitive. To him, a touch is a blow, a sound is a noise, a misfortune is a tragedy, a joy is an ecstasy, a friend is a lover, a lover is a god, and failure is death. Add to this cruelly delicate organism the overpowering necessity to create, create, create - so that without the creating of music or poetry or books or buildings or something of meaning, his very breath is cut off from him. He must create, must pour out creation. By some strange, unknown, inward urgency he is not really alive unless he is creating.”- Pearl Buck

“I never did give anybody hell. I just told the truth and they thought it was hell.” - Harry S. Truman

“… the archetypal Roman shouldered the White Man’s Burden, the arduous but fabulously profitable task of governing those whom, despite all evidence to the contrary, the Romans judged incapable of governing themselves.” (Lucy Hughes-Hallett from ‘Cleopatra’)

“[I often get] the feeling that the very concept of objective truth is fading out of the world… I am willing to believe that history is for the most part inaccurate and biased, but what is peculiar to our age is the abandonment of the idea that history could be truthfully written. In the past people deliberately lied, or they unconsciously coloured what they wrote, or they struggled after the truth, well knowing that they must make many mistakes; but in each case they believed that ‘the facts’ existed and were more or less discoverable.” – George Orwell from Looking Back on the Spanish War

“… our mode of teaching the principles of our profession [Masonry] is derived from the Druids … and our chief emblems originally came from Egypt …” [William Hutchinson, Mason, The Spirit of Masonry, revised by George Oliver, New York, Bell Publishing, originally published in 1775, p. 195]

“Art is a dialogue we have always carried out with the unknown. We have come to distinguish the contours of the unknown through the unconscious, through religion and magic and we may soon begin to understand such totally modern emotions as the feeling that we belong to the future, that our civilization is the sum of others.” – Andre Malraux who was Minister of Propaganda for the Merovingian puppet Charles de Gaulle.

“The clergy converted the simple teachings of Jesus into an engine for enslaving mankind and adulterated by artificial constructions into a contrivance to filch wealth and power to themselves…these clergy, in fact, constitute the real Anti-Christ.” – Thomas Jefferson

“I see in the near future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country.
As a result of the war, corporations have been enthroned and an era of corruption in high places will follow, and the money power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people until all wealth is aggregated in a few hands and the Republic is destroyed.” - President Abraham Lincoln, 1865

“It was not my intention to doubt that, the Doctrines of the Illuminati, and principles of Jacobinism had not spread in the United States. On the contrary, no one is more truly satisfied of this fact than I am… The idea that I meant to convey, was, that I did not believe that the Lodges of Free Masons in this Country had, as Societies, endeavoured to propagate the diabolical tenets of the first, or pernicious principles of the latter (if they are susceptible of seperation). That Individuals of them may have done it, or that the founder, or instrument employed to found, the Democratic Societies in the United States, may have had these objects; and actually had a seperation of the People from their Government in view, is too evident to be questioned.” The Writings of George Washington from the Original Manuscript Sources, 1745-1799. John C. Fitzpatrick, Editor. Mount Vernon, October 24, 1798.

INTRODUCTION:

How does one find out what a religion or national identity is about? You can ask the people who live or believe and follow the system if they will inform you. That is important to do. But if you rely on that alone you will invariably get a lot of hype and unexamined beliefs. We all know the various Abrahamic religions have sects that hate and wage war upon each other but it is not so different in other areas of belief which people like to think is wisdom or knowledge. Those who desire an apocalypse should be raptured to one geographical area along with other sociopaths where they can strive against each other to their hearts content while the rest of the species looks forward to exploring the cosmos and tidying the place up in case any neighbors come calling. We can be so much more – if we would DO as Jesus and other desposyni did. There are despots in these groups of the Merovingian or family of Jesus however.

The same thing is true with history. I can attest to the fact that the Flat Earth and Bible Narrative fictions have an enduring impact on what people think about history. People actually believe there was a time when mariners thought the earth was flat – I kid you not. They think they know these things because they read them in accredited books from professors who hold forth on the subjects they study which are narrow in focus. Seldom do these teachers keep up to date with other fields of endeavour.

The truly amazing thing to me is the extent to which people defend the myths and fictions of history. Even when presented with facts and artifacts people still want to believe in some alien influence rather than human ingenuity. And the really funny thing is they call someone who presents the facts and evidences of that advanced human culture by terms like Conspiracy Theorist. I wonder how we will ever get past these myths if people are not willing to learn the facts. There are all manner of people saying they are Druids, Wiccans and other sorts of people who claim their view of history is true – it is not just the major religions. The facts should do the talking rather than wishful thinking cults or imaginary aliens. That is not to suggest there are not aliens and they might well visit our planet. Let’s just forget all the dragon people and Chanes myths or know humans claimed to be Elohim or aliens to make themselves more powerful in the eyes of those they kept in ignorance through fear. Let’s drop those Bible Narratives with Nephilim or whatever and start looking at reality for a change.

It was long before the recent X and Y genetic research came to my attention when I had already written many books using other disciplines that showed the secret trading Empires that empowered the Divine Kings and other debauched and immoral organizations. Corporatism as defined by Chomsky is not new by any stretch of the imagination. His work is a necessary read for anyone wanting to know the structural deficiencies of our oligarchies.

Getting Credit18 Nov 2007 12:06 pm

If borrowers are asked to vote for the most striking feature of credit cards that appeals them, then increased spending power ought to bag the largest number of votes. In fact this is a feature that distinguishes credit cards from cash, cheque, and the newly launched debit cards. Credit cards allow customers to spend up to a certain credit limit, even when their account may not sport a similar amount. The feature takes not much time to be turned into a drawback when the credit card is used inappropriately. People often keep a multitude of cards and when each card has been stretched to its credit limit, it becomes difficult to repay the debts in totality. It is here that credit card debt consolidation loans come into play.

Credit card debt consolidation loan is a regular debt consolidation loan, reengineered to counter credit card debts. The speed with which debts are eliminated is of prime importance in credit card debt settlement process. Since the debts carry a very high rate of interest, employing a method that moves slowly will only increase the interest burden over time. Credit card debt consolidation loans present the fastest method of coming out of debts.

Credit card debt consolidation loan borrowers need to keep tab of three factors before consenting to any deal.

Rate of interest or APR constitutes the very first factor. The APR being charged on the credit card debt consolidation must be the cheapest available in the UK. The principal motivation behind the use of credit card debt consolidation loan is to escape high rates of interest. It must thus be ensured that the rate of interest must not be equally higher. This has a direct effect on the cost of loan. Secured and unsecured credit card debt consolidation loans, which define the categories of credit card debt consolidation loan, influence rate of interest significantly. Secured credit card debt consolidation loan are backed by a collateral. Borrowers thus cannot be irregular in making monthly repayment without risking the asset kept as collateral. The APR on a secured credit card debt consolidation is generally lower.

Rate of interest or APR is the visible face of a loan. The loan quote requested from loan providers gives the APR. Many borrowers, as a part of the homework or loan search, request loan quotes from a large number of loan providers. Cheapest loan immediately comes into the fore when loan quotes from several loan agencies are compared. In order to confirm that the APR being promised is really cheap as asserted by a loan provider, many borrowers also make use of loan calculators. Loan calculator lists the APR charged by banks and financial institutions, many of which are well known among the financial circles in the UK. Shopping around for interest is going to be very helpful in getting cheap credit card debt consolidation.

The next important factor is the term within which the credit card debt consolidation loan will be repaid. Just as credit card debts become costly if not repaid on time, credit card debt consolidation loans too have a time period within which it will be wise to repay. This is known as the term of repayment. In the absence of any fixed rule stating the term, the borrower will have to depend on his personal discretion. Unless necessary, the term of the credit card debt consolidation loan must not be extended beyond a certain level. Payment calculator is an easy method to find the optimum number of repayments. The potential borrower has to fill the amount of loan and the number of years that he would like to spread the repayments in. Payment calculator calculates monthly repayments on a particular rate of interest. If the monthly repayment so derived suits the potential borrower, the optimum term of repayment is found. If not, borrowers must continue using different permutations and combinations to achieve the optimum level.

Monthly repayments are the last important factor to be considered before taking up a credit card debt consolidation loan. As seen in calculations for term of repayment, monthly repayment is a by-product of the search. Borrowers, in some instances, have already determined that they cannot afford beyond a particular monthly repayment. The search process can thus be centered upon the monthly repayments so determined. Monthly repayments need to be determined with a sufficiently larger period in mind. Whether one would be able to pay the monthly repayments at that point of time will be an issue for consideration. Being irregular on monthly repayments can result into repossession of collateral as well as bad credit.

The list of points to be considered before accepting a credit card debt consolidation deal may not be limited to these three. It may be endless. Depending on the priorities of a borrower, differences in prominence attached to these are often visible.

Each month, there are countless Americans who are faced with
phone bills that they simply cannot afford. In many cases, they
are paying fees that they were never made aware of. Many are
being charged far too much for long distance calls, as well.
This is especially true for Americans who make international
calls on a regular basis. . Many people have turned to cell
phones in the hope that their long distance costs will be
reduced. However, this can quickly lead to overages and
ridiculously high bills. Phone cards are another option, but
they do not generally offer low long distance rates. Most phone
card companies if not all uses cheap carriers to carry their
calls. This can lead to consumers experiencing bad connections
and with all the fees associated with phone cards such as
connection fees and maintenance fees, leaves the consumer with
only a few minutes left on a $5.00 phone card. Is Cheap Long
Distance Service Available? People pay for their monthly phone

charge for each long distance call, but there is also a service
charge that is tacked onto every bill. Due to these and other
fees, most people are not getting their money’s worth when it
comes to long distance. Prepaid Long distance Service Prepaid

talking to someone. If a person prepays $100, he is going to
make use of every dollar that he spends. The prepaid plan
doesn’t expire, so For instance, most calling services charge

friends in other countries a considerable amount of money. It is
also beneficial for people who are traveling. Customers can
connect to their accounts through an access number from almost
anywhere using any of the 10 phones that they can register on

to calling cards. However, they do not require a pin number to

A Baby’s Reflexes..

A baby is born with certain reflexes to protect them during the first few weeks. These reflexes will disappear after a few weeks and be replaced with voluntary movement during baby’s development.

Doctors will check these reflexes to ensure his central nervous system is working correctly.

Walking Reflex

If you hold baby in an upright position with his feet touching the floor, his legs will seem to be trying to walk. This reflex will last for about 3-4 weeks, and he won’t actually walk until he is around 12 months.

Crawling Reflex

Place baby on his stomach and he will take up a crawling position with his bottom in the air and his legs bent. This lasts for about two months when he will then be able to lie flat.

Search Reflex

Touch baby’s cheek with your finger or breast and he will turn towards the source and open his mouth in search of food. This reflex will last for about 12 weeks.

Grasp Reflex

Place your finger in the palm of baby’s hand and he will grasp it. This involuntary movement will persist for about 3 months.

Sucking Reflex

Put your (clean) finger in baby’s mouth and he will suck on it. This reflex ensures he will be able to feed.

Diving Reflex

If baby is placed in water - either during a water birth or in a swimming pool - his throat will close so that he does not swallow the water. This means that baby will not drown if born in water, and he will also be a natural swimmer. This reflex will last for about 2 months, or longer if you take him swimming.

Babinski’s Reflex

Stroke the sole of baby’s foot and his big toe will curl up and the other toes will spread out. This lasts for about two years.

Great Music Tips17 Nov 2007 12:40 pm

If you are just starting out promoting your band, if you have no fan base, or if you just want to attract fans who like your style of music, then start publishing a Genre Ezine.

Genre ezines are electronic newsletters catering to your style of music. Unlike band newsletters, they are not limited to your band’s music. Instead, they promote every band that is similiar to your band and your style of music. By promoting a genre, rather than your band in this style of newsletter, you will attract people who might be extremely interested in a specific style of music, but aren’t interested in you…yet. And best of all you, you are in control.

I publish the Celtic MP3s Music Magazine, a free weekly ezine of free Celtic music downloads. In every issue, I promote two songs from two Celtic bands on MP3.com. I add these songs to my MP3.com station, entitled “Celtic Muse: Song of the Week”. And once a month, I give away a free Celtic CD to subscribers.

The newsletters is short, sweet and too the point. My list has grown mostly from Celtic music lovers who are looking for free CDs. They stick around because they are enjoying the opportunity to hear new, free Celtic music every week.

And at the bottom of every issue is printed the name, “Brobdingnagian Bards”. Of course, there’s a link to our website, and I also provide a signup form on our Bard homepage with links to my other newsletters. Most of the time when someone subscribes to one ezine, they’ll subscribe to another as well. Plus, whenever someone first signs up, they can “start hearing great Celtic music now”…our music of course.

The point is that we are now not only the sponsors of the newsletter, but we define what is “great Celtic music” for our subscribers. It gives us credibility, and likewise gives the ‘zine credibility if they like our music.

Thanks to the newsletter, we’ve seen an increase in sales, and of course, our songs are always at the top of the MP3.com stations so we get more listens than other bands on our station. And as an affiliate of MP3.com, I also get paid every time someone clicks one of my links.

In all, the Genre newsletter is a fantastic, easy-to-manage way of attracting and marketing to people who like your style of music without bothering them whether they’d be interested in YOUR style of music or not. Give it a try. You could make a new fan.

One of the largest recriminations by defamers of the no fax no credit check payday advance industry takes a dig at the annualized rate of interest regularly levied upon short term payday advance loans which might grow up to 1-200%.

As you probably know, the APR or annual percentage rate can be described as a well accepted indicator describing the total amount of interest a client would be required to pay as calculated for a full year. It lends us a formula to factually determine which financial tool has a higher vs. a lower drain on resources informing the deal, incorporating satellite charges that will swing in.In point of fact, the rate of interest p.a. is acknowledged to be a highly proper instrument applicable to financial obligations extending over a time span of at least one year .Per contra, as far as it concerns short-term fast cash advances the lending rates are incontrovertibly less beneficial.

Perhaps we should liken payday advances to deciding on a taxi to get home from the office meeting. It might cost you about forty dollars to get back home. Obviously forty dollars qualifies for some serious money to have to pay for getting home and yet many people will do it for the simple reason that it’s accommodating and services a specific deficiency. Now you and I know full well that we could hire a car for an entire day for only forty dollars allowing us to drive as many miles as we want.

Now let’s just assume we do that… i.e. rent a car and drive it for about four hundred miles during the day we’ve hired it. Now the partisans of APR would most likely insist that we will have to annualize this data to rack up a viable comparison. Really? Let us take the fee the taxi rider will charge us ($2 per mile multiplied by 400 miles) which leave us with $800.00. The annualized correlative of the rental car arrangement against our taxi ride renders $40 contra $800. Now, our critics should realize that car hire really would not have been our best choice, no matter how much more expensive the borrowing rate would have tallied up in this specific case.

Equally, short term payday advances. Let’s not forget that loans till payday are two weeks only loans, not annual loan arrangements. The high rate of interest p.a. doesn’t tell us anything for this particular breed of loan doesn’t cover one year. The absolute interest rate charged will be close to 15-25 percent for the loan. A first cash advance is a high-priced choice no one should go for without due appraisal of all viable alternate possibilities.

There’s no question about it: They can be a great help in times of financial predicament. Nevertheless they were never implied as a competitor to mid or long term financing instruments. For an in-depth outline about getting a payday advance see here.

And don’t forget to check that change in your pocket! There are a number of rare coins still in circulation, and you never know when you might get lucky. Some of the coins to keep an eye out for are listed on various websites:

1943 Copper Penny - During World War II, production of pennies moved from copper to zinc-coated steel, so the copper could be used for the war effort. In the changeover, however, about 40 copper cents were struck from copper by mistake. A true copper penny with this date could fetch upwards of $200,000.

1982 “No P” Dime - Struck in the Philadelphia Mint, the P was inadvertently left off from an undetermined number of these dimes. Estimated to be worth around $100, although some dealers may try to get more for them.

1955 Double Die Penny - With a value estimated at $200 - $1,000, these goofs were caused by a misalignment, resulting in a double image of the numbering and letters.

Coin enthusiasts often search for years looking for that once-in-a-lifetime find. In the meantime, they enjoy the thrill of the hunt. If you want to join the true lovers of rare coins, read up as much as you can so you’ll know what you are looking for, and how to identify it when you find it. Collecting rare coins can be a lifelong hobby for the whole family. Get out there and starting looking!
