Ten Simple Steps to More Customers with Better Networking
Networking is a great way to meet people in a “non-selling” setting. So, don’t sell. Meet and greet. Ask people about their businesses. Be friendly and relaxed. Enjoy yourself. Get to know people. Above all, do not sell.
If and when someone appears to meet your target criteria, ask for their business card. Then follow up with them later to see if there might be a fit.
Here are some ideas to help you get the most from your networking:
1. Set a time budget each week or month for your networking. Plan to attend a specific number of meetings or events at which you can network. Make sure your other tasks and responsibilities fit around these meetings. It’s best to balance networking with your other lead generating activities. This way you can measure the value of your networking leads against the time spent acquiring them.
2. Pick networking opportunities that put you face to face with people most likely to need what you offer. Or try to meet people who can connect you with people who need what you offer. Both are good prospects.
3. Understand why you’re there - to begin relationships - not to sell. Networking is the first step in a long dance. Don’t rush.
4. Don’t give your cards to everyone. Save your money and some trees. Hand out your card only to people who ask for it.
5. Ask people questions. Learn about them and their business. This is how you pre-qualify them. If they meet your target criteria ask for their card. If not, don’t.
6. Don’t sell yourself. It’s okay to tell people what you do. Give your “30 second commercial” but stop after that. You’re there to gather information and to meet people, not to sell.
7. People love people who are interested in them. Ask questions, listen and engage people. This is the fastest way to develop rapport with someone. It’s also the best way to determine quickly if they’re someone you should be doing business with.
8. Have fun, relax and enjoy yourself. People like being around people who are relaxed and having fun.
9. Don’t corner people and don’t get cornered. Manage your time and conversation so you can meet enough people to justify your time spent networking.
10. Offer referrals. The best way to begin a relationship is by giving someone something - like a referral. It doesn’t cost you anything. If they’re the kind of person you want to do business with, they’ll reciprocate and a valuable, long-tem business relationship could develop.
Networking is a time-honored way of developing business relationships. It can be done in networking groups or clubs. It can be done through Chambers of Commerce. It can be done anywhere you meet people. If you are active in your community or industry, you can easily network. Some people “network” while shopping for groceries!
It all depends on your attitude and your focus. The more people you meet who might need your product or service, the more potential customers you can have.

Data Entry Software
Data entry software is an application program that accepts data from the keyboard or other input device and stores it in the computer for processing. It may be part of an application that also provides updating, querying and reporting. The data entry software establishes the data in the database and should test for all possible input errors.
There are millions of forms filled out and being processed in each country every year. Specialized data entry service providers throughout the world provide most of forms processing. Data entry software for forms processing provides needed technical support in the business. Most technical questions are answered in minutes via phone, fax or e-mail.
There are many powerful data entry and image entry programs with proper backup systems available that can easily collect, key verify, reformat and output data the way you want it.
This software works with industry standard hardware and operating systems. You can update system components quickly and safely whenever you like. If you move, your data entry and image entry software moves with you.
There is data entry software that allows you to convert your existing applications. In many cases, near-perfect conversion can move virtually your entire program library. Many companies’ data capture program applications can be converted in a week or less, saving money by moving their programming investments into modern computer systems.
For imaging, image entry software offers the workhorse functionality of traditional data entry software. Built from the ground up for data capture, such data entry programs include a state of the art image entry program that can be activated with a simple phone call; the programs are dedicated to the needs of data entry service organizations. There are programs to set resolution on individual zones within an image. Data entry operators can also zoom and pan an image on the screen.
Data Entry provides detailed information on Data Entry, Data Entry Services, Offshore Data Entry, Data Entry Outsourcing and more. Data Entry is affiliated with Business Intelligence Data Mining.

Differences Between Online and Offline Banking
The differences between online banking and offline banking are numerous and important; if you are currently stuck in limbo between your current, limited offline bank and a new online bank, you should spend some time to carefully review your choices.
What’s so great about opening an online banking account?
An online banking account will make it easy to do all your transactions and bill- paying at home-and in your own free time; whereas someone who doesn’t have an online banking account will have to make a trip to the local bank and sort everything out there. You also can’t put trips to the bank off either; when a bill has to be paid, it has to be done on time, unless you want to pay additional fees and risk losing status with your creditor.
However, there are advantages to using an offline banking account over an online account. One advantage is being able to talk to someone if you have a problem with your account. You can talk to someone who will guide you through the problem and will help you in any way possible; and can even tell you what went wrong.
When you are online, you can only send an email and it usually takes time for the bank to reply; if it is a severe problem, you can be waiting sometime for a reply from you banks customer service center. Another advantage is the exercise that you get from walking down to the bank. This may sound like a lame advantage, but with the threat of obesity hanging over our heads, we need to keep taking regular exercise. We are told that every time we watch the news.
It is time to heed that advice, even if your bank is less than a mile away. Take the walk and breathe in some fresh air.
These are just a few advantages and disadvantages you can factor in when you make the decision, but ultimately, the choice will be up to you.

SEO Copywriter - Finding The Website Writer You Really Need
Search engines and the way they work are constantly evolving. What works today is ineffective or even illegal tomorrow. Writing for search engines is a skill that involves specialist and up-to-date knowledge. Here’s what to look out for if you need someone adept at search engine copywriting.
Have they written websites before?
It may seem an obvious question, but web copywriting is a very different game from writing for print or broadcast. Ask for URLs of websites they’ve written and see for yourself how well written they are.
Are they experienced in search engine copywriting?
Your prospective SEO copywriter may not have been asked to optimise many sites - even now, a majority of websites aren’t optimised. However, he or she should be able to point you towards any that have. It’s easy to work out for yourself how effective the search engine copywriting has been. Simply look at the front page, and one or two other key pages as well, if need be. It should be straightforward to work out what the keyword phrases are. Then enter these keywords into Google, Yahoo or another leading search engine and see where the site ranks. Unless the site is less than a few months old, it should be up near the top of the rankings.
Do they have a site themselves?
Is it simply a site to showcase their work, or is it optimised to attract customers like yourself? (If you found them via a search engine, they must be doing something right.) Does it link to examples of websites they’ve written? If their site isn’t optimised, ask them why it isn’t. If they’re serious about search engine copywriting, the first site they optimised should have been their own.
Have they balanced the needs of the search engines with those of the reader?
A seasoned SEO copywriter knows that there’s always a compromise between appealing to the reader and appealing to the search engine spiders. The optimised web copy they write should never appear stilted, forced or overly repetitive.
What will they charge you?
They should give you a fixed price, which should include one or two rounds of revisions. Assuming you don’t change the brief, they should stick to this price. Make sure they don’t charge you extra for including keywords. Assuming you supply them with the correct keywords at the outset, it’s no harder for a good SEO copywriter to incorporate them into the copy than it is to write non-optimised copy. (Supplying new keywords after a first draft is another matter.)
Do they know how to research keywords?
It’s worth budgeting extra to let your SEO copywriter help with the initial analysis. They should also check to see which keywords your main competitors are using and decide whether it’s worth going head to head with them, or whether it makes more sense to optimise alternatives. However, bear in mind that some keywords are seasonal, and that the worth of many other keywords can change over time.
What should you expect from them once the site is finished?
Before hiring an SEO copywriter, ask them how often your site should be updated. The correct answer is ‘very often’, if you want your site to stay high in the rankings. Then, assuming you don’t want to do it in-house, ask if they are prepared to add extra content or articles which can act as pages for you on a regular basis.
Should I let the web designers supply the copywriter?
Web design or search engine marketing companies may have their own in-house copywriters who can create content for you. Or they may use their own freelancers. However, this can have two drawbacks. In the first place, companies are going to cost a lot more than individuals you find yourself. Secondly, if you cease to work with your marketing company, you risk losing your online voice and style. So you may prefer to find your own copywriter - any good and experienced freelancer will happily work with your designers to ensure you achieve the best possible result.
Are they local to you?
This is not essential by any means, but it can help in certain projects. If you do favour a local copywriter, remember to build in the cost of the meetings, although most copywriters are happy to attend an initial local meeting or briefing for free.
Have they got experience in writing for your field?
You might think that this is one of the most important criteria. Actually, it’s one of the least, which is why I’ve left it until last. Don’t worry if they haven’t done work specifically in your field before. A good copywriter can communicate anything. If you specialise in UK holidays, don’t go for the copywriter who has written average work for one of your competitors. Go for one who’s written excellent work in several fields, but not necessarily yours. He or she will almost certainly do a better job.

Credit Rebuilder Program (3rd in a 5 Article Series)
Step 2: Secure Your Credit!
The next step is to get a good credit card… Secured or Unsecured doesn’t matter. Remember… its how you control the credit that counts! (think about Step 1) When in doubt, a secured credit card is always a sure way to rebuild that credit!
Secured credit cards are a great choice for those having trouble obtaining credit. A secured credit card can provide the best opportunity to establish credit. The credit card providers require a deposit equal to the credit line as collateral. While you build your credit, you are also earning a small return on the savings.
For example, Orchard Bank and New Millennium Bank both offer a secured credit card that requires as little as $200 to get started and reports to all three credit bureaus! As all secured cards go, there will be some start up fees (between $50-$150 is normal) so you will begin with a balance right away. As we discussed before, you need to get below 20% of the credit limit as soon as possible. (Hint: a $300 credit limit will allow you to carry a $60 balance at the 20% target.)
However, many card issuers also offer unsecured cards. During the application process for Orchard Bank, they will tell you which one you may best qualify for. So if you don’t quite qualify for the unsecured right now, there won’t be an extra hit to your credit score to get the secured card! Try now and see what’s available for you! Contact the author for ideas on where to apply.

Summer Olympics 2008 cities
Summer Olympics 2008, China
China will host the prestigious Summer Olympics in 2008.
Already, Olympics fever has gripped China and we’ll probaby see
another exciting Olympics in 2008. The two cities that will host
the Olympics in China are Beijing, which is the nations capital
and Qingdao, a seaside city in the province of Shandong, in
north-east China. Let’s get to know these two Olympics cities
better.
Beijing
Beijing is the capital for China. It was also a capital for the
last two monarchies that ruled China before being overthrown by
Sun Yat Sun in 1911 and has been the capital since Mao Tse Tung
declared China a People’s Republic in 1949.
Beijing is located in northern China, close to Tianjin
Municipality and partially surrounded by Hebei Province. The
city covers an area of more than 16,800 square kilometers (6,487
square miles) and has a population of 13.82 million people.
Beijing is at its best in late spring and autumn, particularly
during the months of May, September, and October when people can
enjoy bright sunshine and blue skies.
As the capital of the People’s Republic of China, Beijing is the
nation’s political, economic, cultural and educational center as
well as being the China’s most important center for
international trade and communications. It has been the heart
and soul of politics and society throughout its long history and
consequently there is an unparalleled wealth of discovery to
delight and intrigue travelers as they explore Beijing’s ancient
past and enjoy its exciting modern development.
Beijing is also the tourist capital of China, boasting of
favourite tourist sites such as :
Great Wall of China
Forbidden City
Summer Palace
Temple of Heaven
Ming tombs
Tiananmen Square.
Beijing will also be the host for the Summer Olympics in 2008.
Already, Olympics fever has gripped the city as construction of
new buildings, hotels and stadiums, sprucing of tourist
facilities, cleaning up of air and water pollution takes on a
fervent pace.
Qingdao
Qingdao is a bustling city located in Shandong province, in the
North East of China. Qingdao will be the site for sailing events
for the Summer Olympics as Beijing is not by the sea.
Qingdao city lies on undulating hills with luxuriantly green
trees and buildings noted for their attractive architectural
styles. The red colour of the tiled roves, green colour of the
trees thills and blue of the sea contrast beautifully. All this
along with its beautiful climate, make the city well-known as a
summer and health resort.
The city occupies an area of 10 654 km2. The city is located in
flatlands, with mountains spurring up nearby. The highest
elevation in the area is 1133 m above sea level. The city has a
730.64-kilometer coastline. Five significant rivers that flow
for more than 50 km can be found in the region.
Qingdao is estimated to be the home for more than 7 million
inhabitants, of which around 2.6 million is residing in the
Qingdao urban area.
Qingdao enjoys mild summers and relatively warm winters, with
the average July temperature at 23.8C and the average January
temperature at -0.7C. The city gets most rain in June and July,
at an average of 150 mm.
Qingdao has very strong German influence in the 19th century and
many German influenced buildings can still be seen. In fact,
Qingdao beer is famous throughout the world, and every year,
hundreds of thousands of people, both local and overseas gather
in Qingdao for the annual Beer festival.
Qingdao attracts many tourists due to its seaside setting and
excellent weather. Parks, beaches and sculpture — as well as
some unique architecture — line the shore. Qingdao’s major
attractions include:
* Ba Da Guan, the older area of town with some surviving German
architecture.
* Laoshan, a famous Taoist mountain.
* Lu Xun Park, named after Lu Xun, a famous modern Chinese
writer.
* Qingdao Beer Museum, on the site of the old brewery.
* Qingdao Naval Museum
* Qingdao International Beer City, the primary site of the
annual Qingdao International Beer Festival.
* Qingdao Underwater World
* St. Michael’s Cathedral, a Gothic/Roman cathedral designed by
German architect Pepieruch, completed in 1934.
* Zhan Qiao (Zhan Pier)
* Zhanshan Temple, Qingdao’s only Buddhist temple.
Qingdao has such nice weather and scenary that the China ruling
party has a large rest and retirement santuary in Qingdao for
it’s retired cadres.

Considering Fast Cash Advance Costs
A very common accusation by vilifiers of the cash advance business is centering on the annual rate of interest normally charged on a short term payday advance that can accrue to 2-300%.
APR or Annual Percentage Rate is a simple indicator to figure out the entire amount of interest a customer will be paying carried forward to one full year. This APR gives us a support structure to realistically determine which solution entails a higher/lower ultimate expense informing the deal, containing extra fees that may be slapped on.As such, the p.a. rate has proven to be a unquestionably powerful instrument applicable to investments traversing a period of at least 12 full months .But, inasmuch as you’re addressing two weeks investments the annualized rates of interest are evidently less practicable.
Rather, liken a payday advance to hailing a taxicab home from the train station. So let’s say you’ll have to pay $40 to drive home by taxi. Of course, forty dollars can be called a lot of money to fork out for riding home nevertheless I’d probably go for it as it is opportune and addresses a must. Now we know full well that one could rent a car for the whole day for only $40 and drive as many miles as we want.
So let’s just say we do that: i.e. hire that car and drive 400 miles during this one day we’ve rented it. Of coursethe subscribers of APR would probably assert that one will have to annualize this data to get sensible comparisons! Fine, so let us take the price of our taxi ride (= $2 p. mile times 400 miles) giving us eighthundred dollars. The “annualized” counterpart of the rented car versus the ride by taxi renders $40 versus $800. Now, everyone should realize that hiring a car really would not have qualified for our best option, no matter how much more expensive the annualized rate of interest was in this case.
And it’s exactly the same with payday advances. Short term payday loans are limited to two weeks only, they’re not annual loans. The ostensibly high “APR” aren’t a reliable indicator in view of the fact that the loan under investigation does not cover the full year. In absolute numbers, the interest rate is actually circa 15-25 percent for the loan.
You can learn more about where to get a payday advance here.

The Habits of Highly Successful Writers
Have you ever envied those hugely productive writers? You know the ones I mean. The article writers whose names crop up with boring regularity in all the trade magazines, and who still find time to keep their web sites up to date with masses of credentials and edit a couple of house journals. The short story writers and poets whose names crop up in all the competition shortlists and magazines - and they’ve probably published an e-book and are teaching half a dozen classes too. And worst of all, the 25-year-old novelists whose books take up half a shelf in your local bookstore!
If you’re anything like me, once you’ve done burning up with envy, they prompt you to resolve to change your attitude, to write more and send more out. Of course, if you’re anything like I was until recently, your resolution lasted until you got up the next morning… or if you were having a really good day, maybe until lunch.
The trouble is, you can resolve to change your behaviour all you like, but until you change the underlying attitudes that cause you to behave that way, it’s going to be an uphill struggle.
Most writers who aren’t writing and submitting as much as they’d like to give one of two reasons.
The first reason is ‘I don’t have time.’
There are times in your life when that will probably be true. If you’re nursing sick kids, making a major job change or moving house, give yourself a break. There are other things to life besides writing, and when things calm down and you can give your full attention to the page again, the odds are your writing will improve for having some new experiences.
If you’re not going through a major life change, then time is not much of an excuse. You have twenty-four hours a day, the same as the rest of us. If you’re finding time for other leisure activities - TV, sport or socialising - then you have time to write. Successful writers find time to write. Rumour has it that best-selling author Carole Matthews produced her first book by tying herself to her desk when she got in from work and not undoing the knot until she’d reached her word-count for the day!
On hearing stories like this, most writers move on to the second reason: ‘I wish I could do that, but I just don’t have that kind of motivation.’ In its extreme form, this can also show up as beating yourself up for being apathetic, lazy, or procrastinating. Don’t do it! Firstly, because it makes you feel lousy. Secondly, for most people, it has no useful effect at all. And thirdly, because it’s not true. You wouldn’t be here reading this if you weren’t motivated to write, and be the most successful writer you can be.
Your job is to figure out what’s getting in the way of doing that.
If you’re anything like me, behind the worries about time and motivation, a big part of the obstacle is some form of that old chestnut, fear of failure.
‘What if it’s not good enough?’ we worry, and tinker with the piece a bit longer instead of sending it out into the world to be judged. ‘I’m not enough of an expert to tell people how to do things,’ we say, and then fume when someone else with even less experience lands the prestigious ‘Question and Answer’ column.
For most of us, the difference between us and those hugely successful and productive writers is not ability. It’s confidence. It’s having the guts to pitch for a tricky, but rewarding job, knowing that you’ve always delivered before, and you’ll find a way to do so this time. It’s taking the plunge and sending your synopsis and sample chapters off to a handful of agents, and then, if those come back, to another dozen or so for good measure. It’s being able to withstand any individual failure because you know it’s not the end of everything, just an inevitable setback on the road to ultimate success.
This sort of confidence doesn’t appear overnight, but there are some easy tricks you can use to move yourself along.
Don’t worry about starting small - most successful writers do. Give yourself a goal that’s just a little bit ahead of where you are now - perhaps a number of submissions per week or month, a competition to enter or a new market to pitch to. Reward yourself when you get there, and keep a record of your successes to cheer yourself up when things are going less well. And each time you reach a goal, pick a new one that’s just a bit further along.
Just like everything else you do regularly, writing success soon becomes a habit, and before long people will be looking at you and wondering how you do it!

Acne Treatment Will Lift Your Self Esteem
It is ordinary to mention that acne can have adverse effects on an acne sufferer’s self-esteem. It can even devastate a person’s social life, as acne usually makes you want to hide away.
Your self confidence can hit an all-time low and you may turn up feeling lonely and depressed. You may not even want your picture taken; you would rather sit in the dark corner at gatherings.
The remedy for this is simple: acne treatment. Treating your acne can be compared to dieting. It takes will power, time, and commitment before you can see the fruits of your labor.
Clear skin is always a sign of healthy skin, and when you have acne, you feel like an outcast or reject of society. But many times there is no need to let your acne get you down, when you can use acne treatment products. These products are there for your well-being and will assist you.
You are not alone and there are individuals who recognize and understand your acne dilemma and are ready to lend a helping hand so you can get that clear healthy skin.
All you need to do is reach out and seize that help. Hold on for dear life until acne is not a crucial social problem in your life. Uncover the correct acne treatment product for your skin type and delight in the benefits it provides when you use it to its utmost.
This is your ticket out of your unhappiness and loneliness and at times you have to make that effort to find the product that will surely make a difference in your life.
Even though acne treatment products produce results, don’t buy into the hype. Be well-informed; and spend some time scouting before you buy. Don’t purchase the first acne treatment product you see. Investigate all the ones you have chosen first and determine if they have any side effects before you reach out for your wallet.
The choice is yours. Use it wisely and you will delight in the benefit of higher self-esteem that comes with clearer skin.

Low Apr Credit Cards
Many credit card companies use the term low APR to promote
their credit card offers. But how do you know if the card you
are applying for is really a low APR credit
card? To determine whether this is accurate or not, you’re
going to have to look at the fine print of these claims.
Of course there are a lot of reputable and honest credit card
offers available as well. We recommend www.easy-approval-cr
edit-cards.com as an excellent source for dependable credit
card offers.
Here is some basic interest rate information to help you
determine if those “low APR rate credit cards” are really “high
interest rate credit rip-offs.”
Keep in mind that interest rates are variable. Credit card
rates are set by adding a spread, or margin, to a base rate.
Your base rate is often a widely used index rate, which is
almost always a rate that changes periodically, without warning
and for no reason.
The spread that is added to calculate your rate depends on your
credit history. If you pay your bills consistently and on time,
the spread may be as few as 2 or 3 percentage points. If your
credit history reveals that you make late payments, or have too
much debt, the spread may be 5 or 6 percentage points or more.
The advertised rate on a credit card is often the card’s simple
interest rate. The effective interest rate, however, is your
true cost of borrowing and includes annual fees you pay to use
the card. The compounded interest rate is a better barometer of
your effective interest rate. For example, if your card has a
rate of 12%, your monthly rate would be 1%. Because credit card
interest is compounded monthly, the effective annual interest
rate on a 12% simple-rate card is 12.68%. By doing a little
research, you could save yourself a lot of money in interest in
the long run.
