Geneva Switzerland
A sleek, chic, sophisticated lakeside city, Geneva Switzerland is the country’s third biggest city, having an irresistible international feel. About forty percent of the city’s populace is from different places. Contrary to what a lot of people think, Geneva Switzerland is not the country’s capital, but its international character gives it that touch. It’s a perfect place for mores to blend with an open-minded cosmopolitan atmosphere.
The city’s crowd of museums facets a lot of exceptional cultural events, and is perfectly positioned for quick hops to French and Swiss Alps. Lazed around in sunshine of its serene setting on the banks of Lake Geneva, this praised neutral territory shows an evident confidence. The place facades unspoiled, sparkling, safe, and efficient environment, yet its spirited and adventurous style remains.
Geneva Switzerland is often known as “the mini-metropolis with a beating heart”. And there are a lot of reasons to visit this amazing place, from humanitarian commitments to cultural events. It is home to Red Cross and the United Nation’s European headquarters. The city’s location in unblemished natural scenery is stunning, yet strolling within the city confines, alongside the lake’s shores with the popular water jet or up into the city’s Old Town is still a pleasurable experience.
There are five excellent reasons to visit Geneva Switzerland, starting with its international flamboyance and its being the UN’s headquarters, its well-known lake water jet, its historical and cultural center with two-thousand years of recognized history, its festivals and trade fairs, and its being celebrated for good wine and food.
Geneva Switzerland’s weather is settled from outside the middle of August to late in October, and this is also the time when the alpine climate of Geneva can diverge enormously. The hot weather is during July’s, while January brings a very cold weather, and September has plenty of rain. So for visitors wanting to catch a sunny Geneva Switzerland, July will probably be your best travel time.
Tourists, who want to witness festivals in Geneva, should visit during December when the most excellent known festival, l’escalade, is held on the 11th of December, where huge quantities of marzipan and chocolates are consumed. The F?tes de Genéve is another festival held in August over two weekends with parades, fireworks, and open-air concerts.
Geneva Switzerland also boasts of great nightlife, brilliant places to visit, comfy and luxurious places to stay in, great food, marvelous wine, and wonderful international atmosphere that blends beautifully with everything that Geneva has to offer its visitors.

50th Wedding Anniversary Gift
A couple celebrating a marriage of fifty years are indeed blessed. Many of us can’t even remember fifty years of life, much less a marriage of such length. When you’ve been together that long, you have so many memories of what life has to offer. You’ve seen joys and sorrows, managing to get through the hard times and rejoicing in the happier times. If you know a couple coming up on their 50th year together, you’re probably wondering how to put together a party celebrating the event. What about 50th wedding anniversary gifts? These folks deserve a loud and ample round of applause. Now, how to show your admiration and respect for such a couple?
People who have been married for so long may have all they need to get along in life. Both the “traditional” and “modern” lists of 50th wedding anniversary gifts quote gold as the gift of choice. With the price of gold these days, who can afford such luxuries?
If you have a large circle of family and friends, you might all pool your resources for one magnificent gift. However, there are so many ideas on a more modest scale that you might consider to make a memorable and beautiful event.
You might take a look at the traditional and modern lists and make a composition of gifts reflecting the years along the way. For example, the traditional list specifies paper commemorating the first anniversary. Combine the two and what do you have? Perhaps some note cards embossed with gold lettering would be welcome, to keep in touch with friends and family. The modern list indicates silverware for the tenth anniversary. A gold-plated cake server could reflect the memory of the tenth anniversary with the achievement of the 50th. The traditional list for a 20th anniversary says china is appropriate. Every department store carries fine china with gold rims.
So you get the idea. Gold is the central theme of 50th wedding anniversary gifts. It is after all, the golden wedding anniversary. Your table setting can easily add some sparkle, with gold ribbons around vases of flowers, gold-rimmed stemware and place mats with gold threads woven into the design. 50th wedding anniversary gifts need not break the bank.
Many older folks have given up coffee in favor of tea. A ceramic teapot of gold leaf can be a useful and beautiful gift. The color of gold has a warm and cheery feeling, which is exactly what you want to convey. So when thinking of 50th wedding anniversary gifts, think “outside the box” and you’ll come up with dozens of ideas to make the occasion memorable and warm.
By the way, do you know that the modern list of anniversary gifts notes that a ten-carat diamond is required? There must be only a handful of couples in the world with that distinction!

How To Get More Buyers
Everybody talks about building a list don’t they?
So we go out and try to find people to sign up for our list. If we’re lucky, after a few months we get a few hundred subscribers and we get excited…but then the kiss of death:
We email our subscribers to pitch a product. We wait a day or two for the sales to come in.
The days pass by and nothing happens. What went wrong?
We sent the perfect email pitch, we have built trust with our list, we’ve given tons of useful content… everything we’ve been told to do, right?
Here’s the answer:
We’ve just spent the last few months building a list of freebie seekers who will NEVER buy from us, no matter what we do for them.
That’s the golden ticket to breaking free from a nose diving list to a big business through email marketing. If you can spend your time finding targeted, responsive buyers that will give you their name and email address (instead of the tire kickers) then you’ve just solved one of the biggest mysteries to online success.
So instead of going after 20k of people who couldn’t care less what you’ve got to offer, why not go for a list of 500 people who WILL buy what you’re selling? I know which one I’d choose, how about you?
In the past, the best way to get subscribers was to give a freebie away as this was always irresistible to visitors. However, those visitors may not ever be interested in buying stuff online, particularly the types of products you’re selling.
Whilst this idea varies from market to market, generally speaking this is the reason why giving things away to get people on your list is a huge energy hog and should be avoided where possible. Save your free stuff for your newsletter if you want to build a proven list of buyers.
When building your list, you should try to think about targeting the types of people that have proven themselves to be responsive to offers, or that have actually bought a low cost, entry level product from you in order to get on your list.
Because once they have trusted you enough to buy from you, then the battle in virtually won! All you have to do is build a relationship with these buyers and deliver value. Then it will be very easy to sell to them over and over again, gradually pitching higher priced items as they buy more and more from you.
This is something that you can do whether you own a product or whether you’re just an affiliate selling other people’s products.
This is just the tip of the iceberg with finding targeted subscribers. If you would like to know how to rake in tons of targeted subscribers in as little as 24 hours, then you should check out a new course by list building, email expert - Michael Rasmussen.
Daniel Waser is a full time internet marketer who makes a living online from the comfort of his home. Do you also dream from working from home, having more time for your family and friends? The Grammy Awards
The Grammy Awards are being hosted on an annual basis to honor best music talent in the record industry and is considered equivalent to Academy Awards. Originally called as the Gramophone Awards it was started by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. Usually held in February, it constitutes nearly twenty genres of music with hundred and eight categories. The categories can be broadly described as Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Artist of the Year to name a few. Regular members of the voting committee are Jon Bon Jovi, Beyonce Knowles, Prince and Paul Simon. The Recording Academy and record companies choose the works of artist who are really talented. Over hundred and fifty members review this selection and assign the works to their proper category. The members of each category who are experts in their respective fields reviews them and votes for the nominees. Deloitte Touche, who are the major independent accounting firm, then tabulates the ballots. The works, which have been produced in a time limit of past twelve months, are considered, starting from October 1.
For many years the venue for the Grammy Awards was The Shrine Auditorium, Los Angeles, California that was also the home of the Oscars. But once the categories began expanding, the venue was shifted to the Staple Center, Los Angeles, California. The nominees and other non-presenting attendees are expected to pay for the ticket to attend the ceremony. In 2007, the entree fee for the members was $750, which later went up to $2500. To attend the official post party, additional $250 should be paid. All the attendees get a gift bag with lots of goodies in it like perfumes, jewelry, CDs and gift certificates with the Grammy award seal.
The ceremony is telecast live on television and there are several live performances by renowned artists. The first Grammy Awards was aired on ABC channel in 1971. Presently it is being aired on CBS channel. On February 10, 2008, the fiftieth Annual Grammy Awards will be celebrated at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
From time to time, the Grammy Awards have been blamed that they consider only the mainstream music and do not take alternative groups into consideration. The rumor was further heightened by criticism that the big record companies are influencing Grammy Awards. Many even say that Grammy Awards doesn’t honor the artist’s talent; rather it’s just held to promote the music industry as a whole and never understood the sentiments of the common people. The critics also blame the Grammy Awards to use this platform for advertising the recording industry. Many also question the nominating and the voting process from time to time.
Sir Georg Solti received the largest number of Grammy awards in a year. He was the conductor of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and he received a total of thirty-one Grammys. U2 is the band, which received the most number of Grammys, a total of twenty-two. In a single night Rick Rubin won the maximum awards. He received five awards at the 49th Annual Grammy Awards. Grammy Awards have even faced fraud when the reality of the pop group Milli Vanilli came to light. The group just lip-synced the song sung by someone else, which resulted in their Grammies being taken back from them instantly. But the awards still go on attracting people from all walks of life.

Choosing a Good Obedience School for Your Dog
Most dog owners want their dog to be well-behaved and well-trained. Even with our best efforts, we don’t always have enough time to spend on properly training our dogs and they can become a little problematic. The good news is that you can get help by signing your dog up for obedience school.
Is your dog disobedient? Have you given up on trying to make your dog obey your commands? Do you often find chewed up items when you return from work? Do you avoid walking your dog in broad daylight because you don’t want the neighbors to see how poorly behaved he is when around other dogs and people? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you need to realize that you don’t have to give up transforming your dog into a controllable and well-behaved dog. By properly training your dog, your life will become a lot easier. Your dog will always come to you when you call him. You won’t get into legal problems because of your dog aggressing the neighbor’s kid and you won’t get complaints from the neighbors because your dog doesn’t stop barking or howling.
An obedience school trainer will be able to give you an idea about how you can make your pet pay attention to you. These trainers will train your dog on how to act with other dogs and people around. They will also teach your dog fundamental instructions (sit, stay, heel and come). Your dog will also enjoy training as he gets to spend time with you, which is what he wants first and foremost.
Selecting a dog obedience school is a little like picking a school for your kids. You want to make the right decision so you should look at all your options before making a decision. Fortunately, you will be attending along with your dog, so you’ll know for sure if you made the right decision. Talk to friends, coworkers and family members who have used obedience schools and see if they would recommend a school to you.
You can also contact the obedience school and ask for the contact information of one of their previous customers. Be ready with a list of questions before you call this person out of the blue! If you hear positive things about the school you are considering, then it’s a good sign. If you don’t, you should look elsewhere.
You should also include a visit to the obedience schools that you are considering. After all, you want to train your dog in a nice atmosphere, don’t you? Check to see if the buildings appear structurally sound and well kept and if the instructors are well trained. You want to find a school where you and your dog will be comfortable.
Take the time to get to know the trainers at the dog obedience school you are considering. Ask them which techniques they use and you can even bring your dog to visit to make sure he would enjoy this particular training school. If both you and your dog are comfortable with a trainer, obedience training will be a lot smoother.

Affiliate Marketing: Discover the Different Types Available
Affiliate marketing can refer to any sort of online revenue sharing system that involves selling and advertising. It started in late 1994 with many e-commerce businesses using affiliate marketing to promote and sell their products and services. Some of these businesses became quite successful thanks to the awesome results they got from affiliate marketing. This is probably why affiliate marketing is still a serious and important strategy for e-commerce sites.
Once a webmaster decides to become an affiliate for an e-commerce merchant that offers subscription services, goods or other services, this affiliate can earn income by referring visitors to the merchant’s site using one of the following methods:
1) PPC or Pay-Per-Click systems allow affiliates to display ads or links on their sites and they receive money when visitors click on these ads or links.
2) Blogs, RSS feeds or other types of personal sites can also be used to market and promote products. In fact, they are increasing in popularity and many merchants benefit from this type of promotion.
3) Shopping directories and comparison sites include reviews of particular products or services and also post ads.
4) Loyalty sites have a reward system in place that provides cash back or some kind of points system. Some loyalty sites also allow charitable donations.
5) Coupon sites only market and promote products and services.
6) Email lists are created by subscribers signing up for such emails, normally through the affiliate’s website and are therefore not considered spam.
7) Registration with a specific site, a newsletter, subscription or special offers can allow advertisement or promotion.
Affiliate marketing networks can function as multi-tier or Multi-Level Marketing (MLM).

Dog Tricks: How To Teach Your Dog Go Find Anything You Ask For
One of the best ways to bond with your dog, while at the same time stimulating his mind, is to teach him new tricks as often as possible. Training a dog to learn new things not only gets his mind working, but also teaches the brain to analyze and process information, thus producing a more intelligent and responsive dog.
Another interesting aspect of teaching your dog new tricks everyday is that he will start to understand specific words within the human language. For instance, below we are going to show you how to teach your dog to “Find It”. After persistent training and practice of this trick, your dog will eventually be able to find a specific toy within a pile of dozens of other objects. Not only is this entertaining for you, but it activates the animal’s thinking process by expanding his understanding of your vocabulary.
The Trick: Find It!
To begin training, line up about six or seven objects on the floor. Then ask your dog to locate a specific one. It is much easier if you start by sending your dog to retrieve something that he is familiar with.
For example, his favorite toy or food dish would be perfect starter objects. Now place the specific object you want him to find right next to a group of other, unfamiliar objects. The other items should be made up of boring, non-attractive things, such as a book, or a glass, etc. The reason for this is to make it easier for him to make the obvious choice when first being introduced to this trick.
Now point your finger to all of the objects that are lying on the floor and tell your dog to “Find The Toy”. Without much hesitation he should put the right object in his mouth, and when he does, shower him with praise and offer a treat.
If your dog already knows how to fetch then have him bring the toy back to you. And if he does not know how to fetch then this is a great time to get him started!
Important: If you give your dog a treat for his good work at finding the right object, do not feed it to him while that particular object is lying close by. Dogs are quick to associate positive feelings with many experiences, and he might only go for the toy simply because he thinks he will get a treat each time, thus preventing him from learning new objects later on.
The next step is to place a different item amongst the pile of objects. Perhaps this time choose his food dish or a small ball. Run the sequence over again by pointing to the object and telling him to “Find The Dish”.
If he picks the wrong item, say “Nope”, and repeat “Find The Dish” over and over until he makes the right choice. Eventually he will be able to associate the name of each object and fetch it for you without fail.

First Aid For Dogs with Respiratory Problems
One of the most dangerous things that could happen is when someone stops breathing. The truth to this is undisputable and even rather obvious for anyone reading it, but interestingly this is something that dog owners rarely think about in relation to their dog. What would you do if your dog stopped breathing? Or, even began choking? No, panic is not the answer I was looking for!
The most common reason for respiratory problems in dogs is some type of blockage in the airways. For instance, there is a good chance that a dog will swallow his tongue if he somehow knocks himself unconscious. Should this happen, you must clear the airway with first aid for dogs and attempt to get him breathing again.
First aid for dogs pertaining to the respiratory system is, actually, fairly similar to first aid used with humans. Listen to the heartbeat, feel for a pulse and look for any respiration signs. In fact, artificial respiration is something to consider in first aid for dogs. Applying a combination of both a heart massage and the kiss of life can be equally effective in saving a dog’s life as it can on a human. For respiratory problems, first aid is fairly similar.
However, you should not attempt artificial respiration when giving first aid for dogs if you suspect poison has been used. Trying to resuscitate your dog when poison has been used puts you in danger. Always take your dog to the vet after you have given first aid for respiratory difficulties. But, when poison could be involved, always take him or her to the vest before administering first aid. Go ahead and try the heart massage technique but stay away from the mouth area.
First aid for dogs has saved many dogs’ lives and will continue to. Unfortunately, though, the odds are not great once he or she begins experiencing breathing problems. Performing artificial respiration may not save your dog’s life, but you must try as it has saved dogs’ lives in the past.
