Digital Cameras + Photography& Artists & Artisans29 May 2008 10:22 am

Nowadays, with the plentiful access to digital cameras and memory, the number of photos you can take is much higher. Also, a photograph can often be remedied on the personal computer, even if it was spoiled by too much lighting. You might think that means you can afford to make mistakes. While that has made photography more beginner friendly, it is still far from an easy hobby.

Photography has been present for more than a hundred years and yet new technology and innovations are taking place even this day. Looking at it, one has to surmise that photography will still develop in the future. It’s never too late to get into photography and even now it is definitely too early to stop learning more about it.

Cameras have certainly come a long way since the early camera obscura. Today’s popular digital point-and-shoot cameras fit easily in one hand and are fully automated. You even need none of the film rolls present in cameras from a couple of decades past, but can store hundreds - even thousands - of high quality photographs on a flash memory card less than a square inch in size.

Recognizing the state of photography today, what may the future hold for us? Technologies such as high dynamic range imaging and specular reflection have already been developed. They will probably enter the consumer market within the next few years. More long term plans on photographic technology include various forms of 3D modeling.

Regardless of which one of these technologies you will have in your digital camera a few years from now, one thing is certain: your camera will still not take the pictures without your guidance. Choosing the target, the angle of view and cropping the photograph will still be left for you to take care of and excel in.

Even if you practice photography as a hobby, you probably want to get better at it. That requires practice - a lot of it. However, it is often helpful to be taught the theory also. That’s why online photography schools have become a popular method both for new photographers to get used to the art and for more experienced photographers to hone their skills and learn different techniques.

I never met a man, who could shake my hand, and make my heart feel like a hearth afire.

I never met a man, who could smile so easy, real honest.

I never met a man, who could make my dark soul, fill with light, by merely standing with him, in conversation.

I never met a man, who could come by honesty, so cleanly, so believably solid.

I never met a man, who could capture my soul, with the stories of simplicity, and sincerety of his youth.

I never met a man, who could live so modestly, so humbly, so simply, and be so very happy to live.

I never met a man, who could toil in the garden with his wife and find riches in the earth, riches which I could never see.

I never met a man, with a beard, so natural, so manly, that I just wanted to give it a little tug.

I never met a man, who was lacking in height, but, huge in stature.

I never met a man, who could wear clothing, tattered, worn, freyed, and look so regal, though, he would not understand that, at all.

I never met a man, who could tell you a story with his eyes, eyes with depth so bottomless, that, words were sometime inappropriate.

I never met a man, who could bring children into this world, who could be just as kind, and loving, and warm, as he. I call it “drinking out of the same cup” if you will?

I wandered around this big world, looking deep into the souls of individuals, here and there, seeing much of me, in them, nothing special there.

I never met a man who could make me feel the sadness, which I felt today, upon learning of the passing of Lester Graybill. The world will truely be a lesser place without him.

The capital is praised for its good-time vibes & unremitting lively night-life. The capital is brimming with after hour cocktail & dancing nights and hang outs of all different sizes. From the noisy stages of vast spots to the loose, small scale disk jockey Bars, London has adventures fun for both the faithful party goers & those people after a nice and quiet quality drink and a chinwag.

A smattering of of the well known spots are suited for faithful party goers, folk who get worked up over their sounds and the clubs they delight in swinging by. Fabric is London’s authentic wonder club and perseveres in booking some stunning and mixed performers. Since there are speakers built in to their floor you are guaranteed to not miss something in this venue. Fabric Friday constantly contains unbelievable acts that folk can dance to till the sunrise of the next morning, at which point people can come again for fresh fun on the coming night when the place presents their smart evenings of beefy and neoteric house tracks.

Egg club is another renowned hotspot. This night traverses across 3 floors and is in essence one of our capital’s coolest clubs. This place is of course well known for holding some of the greatest camp nights in the city and consistently brings in certain of the more classy persons.

Pacha is a flagrantly glitzy flipside to our capital’s gutsy clubbing world, a shower of glitter balls, candelabrum and outrageously made-up camp and straight clubbers. They were out to remould the feeling of Ibiza in the city. Admittance doesn’t cost before the hour of 10pm & even if the the drinks are costly, if you’re seeking a phenomenal night out in London with no expenses spared then this club is probably the night you want to visit.

The Underworld is based in Camden. There is a largish floor space and areas to chill out in. It is really simple, but on the other hand if money is tight then it might be ideal. Should you go on a live evening the atmosphere is electrifying. Almost certainly you can be dumbfounded. You’ll find a mixed bag mass of people of differing age groups and you’ll discover an excellent suffusion of music in the place, so you will discover something to please anyone. Get the low down on London clubs with Time Out.

I am a shadow in a window,
 looking outyearning with
the living land. I shed a tear
 of sorrow; pause, wander
 on, thinking: I could have
 doneshould have done,
 would have done (but had
 unresponsive hands); now
I return to the ghostly sea!
It is all that is left of me…!
All I am to anybody, just a
 memory of a shadow.

#1289 3/24/2006. We are what we are, and what we become, is what we are, and why would we not be? Salvation is saving the soul, not combing it to a polished glow; that is what we are suppose to be doing now. Do you think you’re going to die and then do the polishing? If so, we might just as well eat everyone up now, and do the polishing later, what does it matter then? Perhaps that is why I like archeology, psychology, anthropology, and sociology, so much, it dissects not only the past and present, but the emotions, of a cross cultural world from the beginning of time to its present, to the future, around the globe. Such people like me, dissect shadows, for the most part. I will be going back into the Peruvian Jungles soon, into the Amazonas, about 1000-miles from Peru, here is where all the …ology’s come into play, where time and its bricks, its shadows seep into me like osmosis. People often wonder how we became what we are; I always oversimplify the issue, or is it concept: simply look behind you; the reason is usually there. It is like telling someone, “I can’t figure out why I’m so sad,” when in essence, you need only to go back a day or two, or three, and see what happened, and you will discover the source real swiftlyusually.

Some men may not know or do not have the slightest idea if
a woman is ready to be kissed. These men may be sitting
beside their dates talking too much they suddenly realize
how the lips of their dates are so kissable.

Their imagination will then take control, but this would
also mean disaster if done wrong. This may often leave
these men without a second chance for another date with the
woman.

If a guy finds himself talking to a girl and wondering if
she’s ready to be kissed, he may softly touch her hair and
give a compliment about it.

If the girl shows a favorable reaction, this may be a sign
of getting closer to a kiss. Get closer and try reaching
for her hair again.

Touch the hair tips and simply gaze on her lips and eyes.
The fact that she does not mind about you getting closer to
her is a sign that she is comfortable. This is a sign for a
guy to go and kiss the girl.

Some guys try to go out on an adventurous date in order to
make the kissing move more suave and natural. One
particular example is a guy who usually takes a girl to a
small boat ride on a river.

Upon sailing along the river, he happens to direct the boat
to a place covered with trees and fireflies - truly a
romantic place to kiss.

A guy can also take her date to some ancient ruins in a
local spot and manage to spend time walking until dark.
These ruins usually light up at night.

The guy can take his date to the top of the ruins where
they can see the city all beautifully lit up. This is when
the guy should make a move and kiss his date.

Pewter dragon figurines are very popular, not only because they are so beautiful, but because they are so affordable. In comparison to dragon figurines made of crystal, the price of pewter is significantly lower. In addition, pewter dragon figurines are more durable than crystal because they are not as delicate. Pewter dragon figurines also have the added properties of resistance to rust and being easy to care for.

There are many different kinds of dragons you can have in your collection of pewter dragon figurines or crystal dragon figurines. In fact, you can have two identical collections of dragon figurines - one made of pewter and the other made of crystal. Choose a crystal fire-breathing dragon figurine for your curio cabinet and have it side by side with a pewter dragon figurine to give your collection the contrast it needs. Many people that collect dragon figurines start off with pewter and then add crystal as they can afford the higher prices.

When buying crystal dragon figurines, you may come across figurines of this material that are really cheap. Crystal contains lead and in the United States any crystal with as little as 1% lead is sold as crystal. In Europe, however, crystal with anything less than 10% lead is classified as glass, which would make the lesser amount of lead in a crystal dragon figurine really cheap. When buying dragon figurines, look for the amount of lead they contain. In this way, you can get them just as cheap as the pewter dragon figurines.

There are pewter dragon figurines in varying sizes as well. For example, you can purchase a limited edition pewter dragon figurine containing several different gemstones and stands 7 inches tall. At the same time, you can also purchase the same style of dragon figurine that only stands 4.5 inches tall. You can choose to have the pewter and crystal dragon figurines in your collection all the same height or different heights.

In the line of pewter dragon figurines, you don’t have to stick to the medieval. You can buy a figurine with a dragon operating a computer, which will add to the fantasy ambiance of your collection. A pewter dragon figurine with its wings spread and containing precious stones will add to the color of your collection. Intersperse pewter dragon figurines with crystal dragon figurines in the curio cabinet or on the mantle and you are sure to have the perfect conversation piece in your living room.

Isn’t that what they say?
But what does that mean?
There’s no definition that may
answer that question…

For everyone everywhere
Because it’s all about what you
feel in your heart and share
with the important people in your life…

I honestly believe it means
you should make choices
that will never let you seem
to wonder “What if…?”

Or ask yourself questions like
“Why am I not happy?”
“Where did I wrong?”
How can my life be…

So unfulfilling
and depressing
day after day
continually stressing…

Me out to the point
of no return or worse
when I think there’s
simply a real curse…

On my existence
as silly as it sounds…
If you can’t shake it
The feelings will compound…

And lead you to a tragic
internal, premature death
of emotions and real living
that will always be less…

Satisfying and true
than living for today
in a way that may
make you feel all new…

Each and every morning
despite the world around you
your life will not be dreary…
And you will never have to -

Wonder what could have been
if only you’d taken a chance
and lived in the moment
and treasured the dance…

Of your life that’s not eternal
embracing the small things
that may come unexpectedly
and give you unknown wings…

To soar above
the mundane and boring
To choose the path
that’s worth exploring…

Remember you only
walk this world one time
make it a valuable trip
filled with the sublime…

You’ll probably regret what you
choose not to do a lot more
than what you decide to try
so do not close the door…

On the unknown
Go the extra mile
Take some risks
and you will smile…

When you look back
on the life you made
You will not lack
in delight or…

Have to ask yourself
Why? Why? Why?
Did I allow the years
to fly quickly by…

Without enjoying my days
to the fullest extent
and making each moment
more than well-spent?
