Hybrid cars have almost arrived. Because of the immense advantages it can give you, you will definitely want to get one for your own. Apparently, more and more people are now considering selling their conventional car to purchase a hybrid car. So, why is it that more and more people prefer getting a hybrid car instead of a conventional car despite the fact that hybrid car retail prices are far more expensive?

This is because hybrid cars run on two engines. One is the conventional internal combustion engine that you will find in conventional cars and the other is the electric motor and batteries. Hybrid cars are basically cars that combine electric energy and gasoline energy. By combining these two to power your car, it will run quieter, cleaner and far more efficient than conventional cars. These are the main advantages of hybrid cars.

Hybrid cars carry huge tax breaks. Also, you will be able to enjoy free parking and other incentives that the government imposed on hybrid car owners.

Now that you know about the main pros of the hybrid cars, you also need to know what the cons of hybrid cars are.

You can assure yourself of increased savings by way of lower fuel costs. However, the main advantage of hybrid cars, which is the electric motor, is also its downfall. If and when a hybrid car is involved in an accident getting out the inmates safely will be difficult because of the dangers of electrocution. Hybrid cars carry large amounts of voltage. When it gets involved in an accident, wires from the battery may tear off and will be potentially dangerous to handle.

One more negative factor about hybrid cars is that they are costlier than conventional cars. However, you can make up for it in the longer run by way of reduced running costs. Try and compute the amount of gasoline both cars will consume during its lifetime and add it to the retail price of the car. You will see that the conventional car will tend to be more expensive than hybrid cars when you look at it in a long term basis.

These are the pros and cons of hybrid cars. You can make out that there is a lot of upside to buying a hybrid car. Most hybrid cars today have safety mechanism in place. - benefits of hybrid cars - comparing hybrid cars.

You feel like it is time to buy an expensive car. You have a problem at hand, though - you do not have enough money. There is no need to panic. You have a choice of a range of best deals on offer in the automotive market, popularly described as zero percent finance for cars. What is it exactly and waht is in it for you?

Scenario

Auto Dealers show off their sales plans in the garb of Easy Auto Loans. They will have outlined a profile of the prospective customer. Quite obviously, a major criteria would be that the customer should have a good credit standing. SO, normally such offer will be made to existing customers. New customers would be judged for credit background on several parameters like, income, location of the customer, employment or business status, or even the assets that the customers own. For obvious reasons, credit term is usually shorter than the normal regular interest credit scheme, often below 2 years. It will result in higher EMIs - equated monthly installments.

Terms

EMIs always change in inverse proportion to duration of the loan - shorter the term of credit, the higher the amounts payable per month and the longer credit period, the smaller amount to be paid per month. Ironically, longer duration will result in a bigger total payoutsimply because interest rate is induced for a long period of time. You will find that you will have paid more than 20 times the retail price. If you default on monthly payments, it will result in higher interest after that as a penalty for not paying on time. In such eventuality, it will result in your paying out a far higher amount than what is required by a zero percent finance scheme. To top it all, the car is priced higher than cash down value. For example in a zero percent scenario, the car is offered at say $100,000 on display for 2 years to pay having a monthly payable amount of $4,166. The $100,000 price is actually still higher than the actual value of the car. The car dealers usually know that the car value is only say $70,000 but if offered at zero percent credit, they would price it at $100,000.

Remarks

The zero percent finance car is a good marketing strategy for the car dealer. It is also beneficial for the customer who can afford it. Whether you derive any gains from a Zero Percent Finance Car, entirely depends on how you service the loan. This sales tactics will definitely get good business for auto vendors. It always better than paying longer credit period. It will benefit you also if you manage the terms.

Spoiler refers to a long narrow plate along the upper surface of an airplane wing that may be raised for reducing lift and increasing drag. In automobile parlance, the spoiler is an air deflector fixed on the vehicle to reduce its tendency to lift off the road at high speeds. A spoiler transforms even an old, dull looking vehicle into a handsome one and stimulates the vehicle’s resale price. This, coupled with its aerodynamic quality, persuades many customers to go in for this trendy, sporty accessory.

Spoilers were initially installed only on racing cars and some superior sports cars, mainly due to their special utility value in such vehicles, including reducing its lift and drag and increasing the downforce. These would ensure increase in traction, permitting the car to brake, turn, and accelerate properly and more forcefully.

These days, a variety of street vehicles are equipped with spoilers. Auto spoilers are available as car spoilers (front and rear spoilers), tailgate spoilers, truck cap spoilers, and tonneau cover spoilers. Spoilers are available for minivans and vans and rear window spoilers are common for SUVs.

Spoilers usually come with sealing gaskets that are made of a sponge-like material and mounting bolts. It is quite difficult to find an alternative aftermarket spoiler with holes to match. If a car owner is substituting his factory spoiler with a factory replica, companies often advise him/her to get another spoiler from the factory.

Spoilers are quite easy to install and available at reasonable prices. There should be no compromise in quality. Installing spoilers is a process that needs specialized tools and devices. The installer should have a good understanding of how to attach the spoiler to the car. Having good spoilers on a vehicle indicates that there is less resistance, which would result in a higher speed.

Statistics on the car sales ceredigion are bad this year, we are down 10% on last years figures, which means for no-bonus and a grumpy christmas at ford west wales. I really don’t know what we can do, I have tried halfing the prices of the cars, even selotaping bmw badges over ours didn’t work, one customer even exclaimed “ive never heard of a bmw mondeo” poppycock I responded “its their best selling model” - by saying their I think I may have given it away!

I suppose its back to the bin emptying for me - a little glimpse into the life of a salesman - wonder if anyone in the motor trade or car selling industries will ever read this - if they do, hello to you!!!

Now typically my personality leans towards local buying and selling of vehicles, trading at markets, dealing with local customers and finding local suppliers. But when it comes to finding local used plant its not always so easy.  Reason being I was looking for a refurbished Tractor last week, I went to see bob the tractor man, dave the used tractor dealer but to no avail. I turned my attention to online - first I checked ebay, no luck, then autotrader but thier site was very confusing and broken. I eventually found a good place to get used plant locally, I found the exact tractor I wanted and have brought it - love this old ford!

With so many different types of car security systems on the market, shopping for the right car alarm system for your automobile can be challenging and confusing. It seems as though everyday, the car theft statistics are rising and combining this with the cost of the car itself, plus insurance rates, it’s enough to make any car owner feel paranoid. The LCD car alarm system has given car manufacturers and owners alike a reason to sigh with relief.

The good news is that the car thefts are not due to faulty security systems as a whole; car thieves are a crafty bunch and if an automobile has an antiquated car alarm it is easy prey for these criminals who have mastered the techniques required to disable this type of alarm. On the other hand, there are the car owners who are living in denial of the facts; they refuse to accept that someone would steal their car; perhaps they live in a private neighborhood and feel that their vehicles are protected. Unfortunately, crime does not discriminate and car theft can happen to anyone, anywhere at anytime; usually when you least expect it.

Most people find parallel parking one of the hardest skills in driving especially for new drivers. However, the fact still remains that even seasoned drivers find this skill something that needs not only knowledge but also patience and lots of practice.

Parallel parking is actually a method of parking a vehicle in parallel to other parked cars in a parking lot or space. You will know that it is time to parallel park when cars are actually parked in parallel in just one line. They are parallel to the curb with the front bumper of each car facing the back bumper of an adjacent one.

To parallel park on the right side of the road, you first have to make sure that your parking space is about two meters or around six feet longer than your vehicle. This would ensure that you do have enough space to maneuver about. Although there are some skilled drivers who could parallel park with just a parking space that is around a foot longer than their vehicles.

When you have chosen your space, line up your vehicle beside the vehicle in front of the parking space. Then, you have to signal to the right. Now, turn your steering wheel all the way to the right and put your car in reverse.

Upon doing such, back up your vehicle so much so that your rear right bumper is the first part of your vehicle to enter the parking spot. Now once you achieve that your vehicle is around 45° degrees to the parking spot, slow down. Then, turn the steering wheel all the way to the left. Then, continually back up until the vehicle is parallel with the curb.

After that, you have to gradually turn the steering wheel to the right. This would curve your vehicle into a straight position. When you have already made your vehicle occupy the middle of the parking space, brake your vehicle.

There has been recent debate in the medical community about defining and prescribing medication for such “disorders” as social anxiety disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, and post traumatic stress disorder. American society is plagued by self-induced stress. Should this be something we pop pills for? Retrospectively, society accepts the unhealthiness of prior forms of medicated stress relief. It is generally accepted that smoking, for example, causes more problems than it relieves. Why does America swallow anti-anxiety medication so freely, without worrying about harmful side effects? These are powerful drugs that target chemicals in the brain. Medication should be the last resort in any anti-anxiety therapy. First, people who suffer anxiety should be proactive and try to resolve their concerns.

One example of a disorder that is suddenly widely prescribed is Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). PTSD was first recognized as a serious problem among veterans returning from war. These men suffered cold sweats, panic attacks, nightmares, and compulsive behavior as a result of near death experiences and the mental anguish of war. Some doctors are now claiming that this same level of shock is regularly induced in car accidents, they cite numbers as high as 9% of car accident victims suffer “significant post-traumatic stress symptoms”.

A few years ago, I was in a rather serious car accident, and I experienced symptoms like these medical journals described. I would often upset myself by dwelling on the accident. I displayed obsessive behavior in that I avoided left turns wherever possible, even on deserted streets. I could not manage this out on country roads, but in the city grid I was careful to take three right turns instead of making just one left. Riding in a car that slams on its breaks still causes me to spin around and look behind for the car that always seems to be on the verge of collision. Was this Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder? As annoying as these symptoms were, I find it would take a rather presumptuous hypochondriac to insist that these small neuroses could rival the intense stress of a veteran returning from the horrors of war. Perhaps I was stressed and absorbed by my experience, but I certainly never needed medication.

What I did need to do was to be proactive. I worked with the insurance companies to work out the claims. I spoke with my lawyer and found someone who wanted to buy and rebuild my totaled car so I did not have to consign it to a junkyard. I took responsibility for the situation and did not let it take control of me. It did hurt to think about my car for months, but I don’t obsess about it anymore. If you feel overwhelmed by a car accident experience and all of your real medical needs are met, you do not need a doctor. Talk to a lawyer about your situation and be proactive about filing papers and taking action. I felt overwhelmed after my car accident, but talking to an experienced car accident attorney helped me to answer my questions, address my doubts, and quell my anxiety. No pills required.
