Yes of course they CAN! They should!! People, who already have a regular 9-5 job going for them, must also work at home, if you ask me. Everyone who has a computer and access to internet should take up working at home. According to me, it’s a lateral concept. The next paragraph will clear my point of view.

Instead of saving like crazies, unnecessarily living with the insecurity of “I may lose my job because of differences with my boss or downsizing in my company”, not being able to afford what you want, checking out better openings with better pay packet, having to prove yourself every time the job, or boss changes…. It’s a tiring, unending, run-of-the-mill story. There may be many such reasons, I can’t think of right now.

Taking up a work at home business will put an end to all the above problems. Basically, once you have a stream on income, other than the regular office salary, insecurity becomes thing of the past. And this extra income or home business is something you have full control over. The more hours you put in, the better you earn. First few months are all work, work, and work without returns. But once you reach a certain level income starts and grows with each passing month.

God forbid but if circumstances compel you to quit your regular job, with your site/sites having reached Search Engine, you don’t have much to worry about. With the initial 6-8 months of hard work gone into the site - you are absolutely safe. Depending on the income from your home business and your present needs start a new site and work on the existing one/ take up a new job for some more time if need be. You can opt for either of the combinations. In another 8 months you would have exceeded what you were drawing as salary from the job. With two sites doing well, means a LOT of traffic!!

And please before you jump to a negative conclusion that I am trying to show you the brighter side of home business, please excuse me. I am very clearly, in straight simple language talking about the initial work you have to put into your site for first 6-8 months.

I am sure most of you will relate to and agree with me on the above. Not because I am a great writer, but simply because we are all in the same boat. Everywhere there is downsizing, everywhere people have differences with their bosses, but then everywhere there is home business too! It takes lateral thinking to get ready for eventualities in a positive manner. Get ready. Give it a good thought. Your home business hours can be early mornings, Saturdays and Sundays. Your regular job goes on as usual.

With the cost of living quickly surpassing the wages (we make) necessary to maintain an “average” lifestyle, more and more employees are beginning to seriously consider the option of working from home.

Being your own boss, setting and keeping your own hours, keeping all (or most of the proceeds for yourself), saving on travel time and gas, allowing for as much vacation time as “necessary”, it all has its perks. It certainly seems that way, especially for many woman who may not want to stop working or can’t afford to, but also want to stay home with the kids or be home when they get back from school.

But, this growing trend, even with all its apparent benefits has many experts cautioning stay-at-home workers and warning them about the potential perils of home-based businesses due to common human error.

Some of the most common (and most damaging) include:

Going In Blind: Sure you need confidence, guts and faith to start your own business, but you also need to know what your getting into, and that means diving FIRST into doing the necessary research about the type of business you are interested in starting. Experts suggest finding out as much as you can about your potential venture and about its potential for success in your area. Find out about your competition, note how much they are charging and pinpoint your target market. Rely on books, trade shows, conferences and the net to gather your materials and information.

Becoming A Lone Venturer: Keep in mind that starting ANY business is difficult, especially in its initial stages. This is the most crucial time for you and your venture and you’ll need all the love and support you can get. One of the biggest mistakes, say experts that new entrepreneurs make is not getting the necessary support from spouse of family. Besides maybe helping with the housework or kids, he or she may also want to lend a hand in your business or at least lend support and encouragement as to work to get things going.

Leaping Without A (Financial) Safety Net: Most of us are use to bringing home a specific amount of income (give or take) each week, an idea of having a “comfort” zone that most new business owners need to give up say experts. According to professionals, most new business owners won’t see a profit for several months. In fact, they suggest having at least six months (monetary) reserves on hand.

Spreading Yourself Too Thin: While you certainly want to please the consumer and build your client base, it’s important to remember, that you won’t be able to please all of the people all of the time. They suggest not spreading yourself too thin by creating a mission statement for your business defining your purpose and your goals. Include what your business involves, what makes it stand out, and where you see yourself a few months to a year down the line. And, they add that you should make it a point to check your statement periodically and make all the necessary adjustments.

Getting Too Comfortable: It’s easy to take advantage of being at home, especially when you don’t have to punch or Watch the clock. But, according to experts, sticking to a regular work schedule is imperative. Keep your schedule flexible (that’s what working from home is all about) but set limits and boundaries that will allow you to focus without any interruptions and be productive.

Not Having A Space Of Your Own: For some a private office may not be feasible, especially if you’re a stay-at-home parent. But, according to experts, it’s imperative that you designate a specific space to conduct business. It is also important that you have all the necessary office essential to properly conduct your business. Sharing space and sometimes supplies is necessary, but you really should have your own for maximum efficiency.

Selling Yourself Short: Want to beat your competition (price-wise) is a smart move, but seriously underbidding yourself and your worth may not be. Know what the competition is charging and make reasonable adjustments remaining firm and confident in what your product and ability…and always leave a little room for “play”.

Putting Off The Paperwork: While most of us don’t enjoy the paper trail that often goes along with owning a business, it’s an essential part of operations, especially when it comes to keeping track of inventory and finances. Make sure to do all you shipping and receiving and related filing promptly, as well as sending out timely invoices. Keep in mind that most consumers take up to 90 days to pay, so you’ll need to bill them as soon as possible. And also, don’t forget to keep track of your own expenses to know what is coming in and what is going out.

All Work And No Play: Just because you work from home doesn’t mean you never leave the house again. In fact, a very important part of any business is networking. So, think about maintaining your professional appearance and joining some professional organizations that can put you in touch with all the right people….and even though chat boards and blogs can offer you the same, making a personal appearance is ALWAYS a nice touch.

Expecting Too Much: Considering working from home as anything but “work”. While you may have the freedom to make lots of your own decisions, you’ll also have a lot more responsibility, and that means learning how to manage your time (between work and career) like never before.

Nokia, as everybody knows, is presently 1 of the globe’s most large fabricators of telephones and this is compared to other dominant competitors for example, Samsung & Motorola (amid others). Nokia construct mobiles for each and every main sector and back in ‘07 they were voted the most valuable global brand. Their goods fall into four various divisions - cell phones, multimedia, networks & enterprise solutions. Nokia can supply mobile phones to businesses or individuals.

The cell phone revolution headed by Nokia is apparently irrepressible. The thickset bricks made in the nineteen nineties for example, the Nokia 2110 that was almost 236 grams have nowadays been swapped with light-weight, slender hand sets for instance, the Nokia 6282 that comes in at 115 g or the Nokia 7380 that weighs only 80 grams. All the phones have the most current in communications jiggery pokery along with a good fashion sense.

Deciding on a phone was a manageable undertaking yet when you think about the products possible to everybody today, it becomes somewhat harder. Potential buyers might well buy their handset with the thought of various accessories, - could it be a statement of fashion an object which makes people look groovy - or could it be only for the advantages that the handsets currently offer, for example, e-mail & WAP, etc.

More technologies are likewise consolidating in Nokia telephones to provide the customer the possibility to communicate with more than simply speech. Nokia mobile devices which include digi cameras are also becoming familiar as is the facility to produce videos and transmit them to friends and associates through multimedia messaging. You can additionally see full color graphics on every one of their cell phones and more than 1/2 are available with the facility to show WAP info (pages improved only for the smaller displays on a handsets). Also obtainable is mobile devices that are built with radios & MP3 facilities just for listening to your tunes. The cost of their sets range from nothing at all up to a few hundred pounds, it really depends about what someone require.

Nokia, as was previously stated, is still the planet’s #1 maker of mobile devices, even though some think that Nokia’s top rank might be under pressure specifically by Sony Erickson. Even so, Nokia now have the advantage of ages of experience in mobile phone assembly & has wonderful loyalty from its regular consumers along with with their reputation only for reliability & user friendliness.

As new technologies become even more vital in today’s cell phones, the space between Nokia and all its competitors will become extra obvious.

Search engines and the way they work are constantly evolving. What works today is ineffective or even illegal tomorrow. Writing for search engines is a skill that involves specialist and up-to-date knowledge. Here’s what to look out for if you need someone adept at search engine copywriting.

Have they written websites before?

It may seem an obvious question, but web copywriting is a very different game from writing for print or broadcast. Ask for URLs of websites they’ve written and see for yourself how well written they are.

Are they experienced in search engine copywriting?

Your prospective SEO copywriter may not have been asked to optimise many sites - even now, a majority of websites aren’t optimised. However, he or she should be able to point you towards any that have. It’s easy to work out for yourself how effective the search engine copywriting has been. Simply look at the front page, and one or two other key pages as well, if need be. It should be straightforward to work out what the keyword phrases are. Then enter these keywords into Google, Yahoo or another leading search engine and see where the site ranks. Unless the site is less than a few months old, it should be up near the top of the rankings.

Do they have a site themselves?

Is it simply a site to showcase their work, or is it optimised to attract customers like yourself? (If you found them via a search engine, they must be doing something right.) Does it link to examples of websites they’ve written? If their site isn’t optimised, ask them why it isn’t. If they’re serious about search engine copywriting, the first site they optimised should have been their own.

Have they balanced the needs of the search engines with those of the reader?

A seasoned SEO copywriter knows that there’s always a compromise between appealing to the reader and appealing to the search engine spiders. The optimised web copy they write should never appear stilted, forced or overly repetitive.

What will they charge you?

They should give you a fixed price, which should include one or two rounds of revisions. Assuming you don’t change the brief, they should stick to this price. Make sure they don’t charge you extra for including keywords. Assuming you supply them with the correct keywords at the outset, it’s no harder for a good SEO copywriter to incorporate them into the copy than it is to write non-optimised copy. (Supplying new keywords after a first draft is another matter.)

Do they know how to research keywords?

It’s worth budgeting extra to let your SEO copywriter help with the initial analysis. They should also check to see which keywords your main competitors are using and decide whether it’s worth going head to head with them, or whether it makes more sense to optimise alternatives. However, bear in mind that some keywords are seasonal, and that the worth of many other keywords can change over time.

What should you expect from them once the site is finished?

Before hiring an SEO copywriter, ask them how often your site should be updated. The correct answer is ‘very often’, if you want your site to stay high in the rankings. Then, assuming you don’t want to do it in-house, ask if they are prepared to add extra content or articles which can act as pages for you on a regular basis.

Should I let the web designers supply the copywriter?

Web design or search engine marketing companies may have their own in-house copywriters who can create content for you. Or they may use their own freelancers. However, this can have two drawbacks. In the first place, companies are going to cost a lot more than individuals you find yourself. Secondly, if you cease to work with your marketing company, you risk losing your online voice and style. So you may prefer to find your own copywriter - any good and experienced freelancer will happily work with your designers to ensure you achieve the best possible result.

Are they local to you?

This is not essential by any means, but it can help in certain projects. If you do favour a local copywriter, remember to build in the cost of the meetings, although most copywriters are happy to attend an initial local meeting or briefing for free.

Have they got experience in writing for your field?

You might think that this is one of the most important criteria. Actually, it’s one of the least, which is why I’ve left it until last. Don’t worry if they haven’t done work specifically in your field before. A good copywriter can communicate anything. If you specialise in UK holidays, don’t go for the copywriter who has written average work for one of your competitors. Go for one who’s written excellent work in several fields, but not necessarily yours. He or she will almost certainly do a better job.

These brainy pieces of high-technology empower you to receive your data through browsers and e mail your clients and coworkers. From their business range Nokia supply four particular makes of business telephone. These are communicators, smart phones, messaging handsets and mobile handsets. Nokia business devices support solutions such as Nokia Intellisync Wireless Email. Nokia have done some research and it has been discovered that workers exploiting wireless email carried out an average of an extra fifty five mins of work per day. Yet another benefit to using a Nokia Business devices is that they can save some dosh for the business or even for you individually because you’ll not depend upon 2 different handsets - you can have all you need encompassed in 1 set.

Nokia telephones are brilliant for firms & for pros. All handsets come with great designs, they are all wonderfully compatible and also effortless to use, once you’ve played around them. The email capabilities are excellent with support from Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Office 97, 2000, 2003 & XP and also it’s compatible with zip manager and Adobe Reader. Folk can send and receive e-mails throughout conversing on the telephone plus they may access the current calendar and the contact details. The e mail facilities can also function in the off-line mode which means one are able to read & write emails whilst the internet is unreachable.

Even though the business hand sets from Nokia are not all particularly small scale, what you have to remember is that they are good dimensions when you think what they are able to do. Most of the handsets are sold with a full keyboard with back-light, a good sized landscape screen and also an easy one press feature which accesses your email .

A business handset may not suite everybody but for the conveniences it offers people who will make use of the facilities, it’s assuredly going to make their lives much more simple.

If you know that content is king, can you make sure that your web visitors stay and read what’s on your website long enough to take action – buy your product, sign up for your ezine or even contact you?

To ensure your web copy gets read, try putting the 10 tips below to work! They’re easy to implement and gain top points for readability.

Tip #1: Go for Narrow and Short

Text on your website should be laid out newspaper-style! Text in short, narrow columns are easier on the eyes and helps your web user read faster. Never allow your text to span the width of your webpage because this strains the eyes. Aim for 15 to 20 words per line or about 60 to 70 characters per line.

Tip #2: No Scroll

Offering long articles? Break them up into manageable chunks, preferably spread out over a few web pages on your website. Having a long article on one web page means your web user needs to scroll and scroll and scroll…to read the article. You also hold your web users’ attention for a longer duration when you offer manageable chunks as they won’t be scared off by the long text. By doing this, you can also track whether your longer articles get read or whether the web user leaves after the first page.

Tip #3: Think Global

Write with your international web users in mind. Do not assume people know the abbreviation, acronym or jargon that you use. Be specific and clear. While US Dollars reign supreme in most online stores, do not assume your web users know what you mean, especially when it involves money.

Tip #4: Use Common Fonts

Not all fonts will appear as you think they will on your computer screen. Designer fonts may be cool to you but it’s not so cool when your web users don’t have these fonts and all they see is a substituted font! So when it comes to fonts, be on the safe side. Use common fonts like Arial, Verdana, Georgia or Times New Roman so that everyone can read what’s on your website.

Tip #5: Avoid Hype

Avoid hype when you write your website text. Hype is over-exaggeration, overblown claims, overexcited tones, extreme use of superlatives and adjectives (like ‘biggest ever’, ‘most mind blowing’ or ‘most important tool you will ever see in this lifetime’). It creates distrust and suspicion besides ruining credibility and reputation. Do not capitalize all your words. Do not overuse exclamation marks.

Tip #6: Write Like You Speak

Write like you are speaking to a friend. Make it engaging and personal. Use words like you and I to encourage rapport and relationship. You can also use contractions (such as it’s, you’ve, I’ve, etc.). Stay clear of jargon, buzzwords, and corporate-speak (which essentially don’t mean much and leave people confused).

Tip #7: Give Lots of White Space

White space is ‘breathing space’ and gives your web user a chance to pause. White space also helps keep your website focused because web users can concentrate on what’s on it, instead of being distracted by too many items on the website! Allow white space between text by making your paragraphs shorter.

Tip #8: Pull Quotes for Attention

Use a pull quote to highlight important information. A pull quote consists of 4 or 5 lines of text extracted from a main body of text and quoted in a larger typeface to differentiate it from the main body text, usually placed within the article or sometimes in an empty column near the article. Limit the use of pull quotes though because if you use too many, you lose the effect.

Tip #9: Use Headlines

Like pull quotes, great headlines makes a reader want to continue reading! A headline should hook your web user by being provocative or create a promise of a solution. Make your headline stand out by creating curiosity (humans are naturally curious and would always want to know more!), inserting a question or statement which is out of the ordinary.

Tip #10: Be Specific

Aim to be specific when writing especially when it comes to numbers, names or places. For example, which is more believable? 3,581 or 3,500? Ms Krista or Mrs Krista Goon-Sim? Being specific adds to your credibility. Also, give well-supported facts because they can help bolster your argument and inspire confidence in your product and business.

A simple solution to the mortgage crisis is in the works as Congress asks the SEC to write an opinion letter on the accounting rules which prohibit lenders from modifying current mortgage contract once they are in hedge funds. This rule only allows companies to modify the loan contract 30 days after a foreclosure has occurred.

The SEC now states it would be allowable for a lender to modify a mortgage contract if it appears imitate the home is going to foreclosure.  Of course they have left sufficient gray area so they can pounce on someone if they wish, but there opinion letter does open the door a crack so those friendly lenders wishing to try to help a borrower out of the jaws of  foreclosure could.

No one knows where things will end up but one thing is curtain, we are in for a wild ride for at least a few months. Even so, there are still real estate deals that make sense for people who have available assets for small cash investment with substantial monthly income.
